It's that time of year again... Merckx has been blowing his undercoat over the last couple of weeks, and the photo above is the result of one of many brushings during that period of time. Little -- or not so little -- Merckx tumbleweeds scatter around the house. Yes, I vacuum, but keeping up with him is quite a chore. I've read that Samoyeds typically blow their coat around their birthday, but Merckx is about a month off. When they're young, this happens twice a year, so at least it seems we are past that!
