Merckx went to a much needed grooming appointment at Wag-a-Lot last Friday and is now less quite a bit of hair. The biggest difference is -- and I apologize for the corresponding photo -- his rear end, which used to look (at least my mom thought) much like a skirt. Jarrett and I think he looks a bit silly now and were trying to figure out what he looks like from behind now that all of the hair is gone. We've settled on a sheep. Anyway, he is definitely mat-free and very clean -- never a bad thing.
