We had our friend, Nick, do another (much smaller) landscaping project in what we like to call the trough area at the back of our house. We tried in the past to plant many a plant in this area, but it is just so shaded that nothing ever took -- or dogs decided to dig them up because it still appeared as much more of a sandbox than anything else. So now we have proper shade plants installed and it looks so much better. Nick still plans to add two shade-growing vines on either side of the trough, likely early next week sometime. The smaller area at the bottom, which is currently home to just some leftover oregano I planted a couple of years ago, will probably be torn out at some point, as our overall plan is to make this area into a small stone patio. Until then, just this is a big help.

Hey! Your yard is looking great. It's so neat to see both of you so clearly in those 10 month pictures of Elsa- she is so lovely. Where are you taking your music class? What a fun thing to do together...
