We brought home our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving, and I strung the lights and garland that night, saving the ornament hanging for the next day, when Elsa could help me. She was really into it this year, and did a great job hanging all of the less-breakable ornaments on the lower part of the tree. And, since then, she has had much fun rearranging them all on a daily basis. Sometimes the very orderly part of me has to do some rearranging myself in the evenings after she has gone to bed. This is a fabulous lesson for me in letting go. Mostly, I enjoy watching her having a good time, telling stories with the ornaments as she moves them all around.
