Easter

We had a nice, laid-back Easter here at home this year. Elsa and I dyed Easter eggs. Avie watched, pantless, while her diaper area (and the never-ending diaper rash) aired out.

We had an Easter egg hunt over at a friend's house last Tuesday.

We had an early Easter present opening on Saturday morning (thanks, Grandma and Grandpa!).

And on Easter morning, we started with Easter baskets and then an egg hunt in our front yard (with our dyed eggs). Then we attended a lovely Easter service at church. Afterward, it was another egg hunt (with candy-filled plastic eggs!) at Tim and Kate's house. Elsa cracked me up because just as deliberate as James was in opening each egg and dumping the candy in his basket, Elsa was equally disturbed when hers popped open and spilled out --  nearly to the point of tears. We had a yummy lunch, along with much lounging in the front yard, taking in the delicious weather, while Avie napped and James and Elsa played wonderfully together.

Look at my teeth!

It proved nearly impossible to get a decent photo of the two of them together.

They are so cute and photogenic! Elsa even looks great with Chicken Pox. It really doesn't look so bad! Maybe I SHOULD have sent Lucas over to share lollipops afterall!!
