Happy New Year!

We had a small gathering of close friends over to our house for dinner and relatively quiet festivities to ring in the new year. It was a good time and a fun way to say goodbye to what was a really wonderful year in so many ways.

Christian started things off with a bang by mixing up some amazing drinks. (Elsa was just around the corner, serving them up to the adults in the living room.)


Baby James stuck with us most of the evening until he finally had too much of us old folks and decided to crash out in his fancy baby tent in the back room.


With the kiddies asleep, us adults finished off the evening in style.
